When she saw award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician Joe Mettle at her wedding reception, a Ghanaian bride who is clearly a huge fan of the gospel musician briefly lost consciousness.
Joe Mettle was reportedly invited by the groom and his team to the wedding reception without the bride and her team’s knowledge to perform tracks from his extensive discography for his wife and guests.
In general, it worked out well, as evidenced by the footage blogger @Sonia shared. The bride, a Ghanaian doctor working in the US by the name of Dr Achiaa, upon sighting Joe Mettle, briefly fainted.

When she finally ‘absorbed’ what was happening, she quickly maintained her composure and embraced David Antwi, her newly married husband who put the surprise package together as they continued to dance wildly.
Shortly after the wedding gig, Joe Mettle and his team travelled to the United States of America as part of his North American Tour.
Joe Mettle made history on April 8, 2017, when he became the first Gospel artiste in Ghana to take home the prestigious Artist of the Year award at the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Awards (VGMAs).
He has performed on international stages with international gospel artists like Donnie McClurkin, Nathaniel Bassey, Ntokozo Mbambo, Michael Stuckey, and many others. He has received numerous awards in Ghana and elsewhere. Selassie Mettle, formerly Dzisa, is his wife.
