Ghana Models Award 2022 Slated For October 15 The 2022 edition of the annual Ghana Models Awards is scheduled for October 15 at the Best Western Premier Hotel in Accra. Organisers announced this on Monday, promising an excellent award ceremony this year. The event will host professional models and other stakeholders of the modelling industry under one roof to celebrate the achievements of stakeholders in the fashion and modelling industry. Founder of the Ghana Models Awards Jerry Wonder Sampson stated that this year’s event has received more entries than last year and it is an indication of the good work and growth of model agencies in Ghana. “Looking at the number of entries that we received, over 500, I want to believe that the model agencies are doing something right. And, it wasn’t just the numbers, but also the quality of work done and recruits. If this continues, I believe modelling will eventually take its rightful position in the job market”, he said. This year’s event is under the theme “Utilizing Partnerships For Progress.” The Ghana Models Awards was first organized in 2013 in Accra at the Alisa Hotel and has since been championing the call for a mutual business relationship between model agencies and advertising agencies in Ghana.
