Bawumia’s Potential Candidature Has Faced Some Fresh Resistance From His ‘ Stronghold ‘.

Most Ghanaians have predicted that once Dr. Bawumia becomes the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party, then the party will stand a chance of obtaining more than 50 percent of the culminated votes in all the five Northern regions. Today, this prediction which has some touch of favor for the incumbent Vice President, Dr. Bawumia has an internal massive opposition, surprisingly from the same North.

Media General Television station, TV3, shared on social media, a press release and conference from a group, North For Alan, who identified themselves as supporters of the current Minister of Trade and Industries. The group cried foul at how the NPP has failed in creating a fair playing ground for both Alan and Bawumia. As expected, they shared their observation of how the party has treated Alan unfairly by keeping a blind eye at the defiance of the party codes of conduct by fans and supporters of Dr. Bawumia and Bawumia himself. They left this message to the NPP.

“We will vehemently resist all the attempts to suppress, victimize and intimidate patriots who show support for Honorable Alan Kyeremanten.”
