Tema Metropolitan FA to hold ordinary congress January 5, 2023

The Tema Metropolitan Football Association (TMFA), will hold its annual ordinary congress next week Thursday to usher in the 2022/23 football season.

This upcoming event would be held at the Apple Hotel, Community Four, Tema ahead of the new campaign which promises to be exciting than what transpired last season.

The event is scheduled to start at 8:00am local time with congress men and women expected to be seated by 7:30am at the venue.

The upcoming congress is expected to authenticate all promotions and demotions in the past season and to officially bring that campaign to a close.

The road map for the new football season, will be made known at the congress with competition in the Third Division and the juvenile contests also on the agenda.

Chairman of the TMFA, Daasebre Adu-Asare is expected to lead the congress which is expected to be attended by all football stakeholders within the municipality clubs, administrators and referees among others.

He will be expected to address the state of the TMFA, bring to the fore the progress so far and the challenges they are facing in trying to bring success to the municipality.
