Hearts of Oak Captain Declares Support For Asante Kotoko

Accra Hearts of Oak Captain, Fatawu Mohammed has said that he is an Asante Kotoko supporter despite playing for Hearts of Oak.

The captain has been told to look elsewhere after he was deemed surplus to requirement by head coach, Slavko Matic.

In an interview with Sports Obama TV, the outgoing captain has this to say.

“I’m not a Hearts of Oak fan, I support Asante Kotoko. In my house, everyone supports Kotoko” – Fatawu Mohammed via Sports Obama TV.

Fatawu Mohammed and his teammate, former West Africa Football Academy central defender, Mohammed Alhassan have been told to look for new clubs as they are not in the plans of the new coach.

The Phobians have already extended the contracts of two key players that will see them play until 2025.

The two key players are rugged defensive midfielder, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen who just returned from South Africa after a successful surgery.

The other player to have had contract extension by the club is former West Africa Football Academy goalkeeper, Richmond Ayi.
