Chelsea are set to turn their attention to other potential targets after Christopher Nkunku suffered an injury in training with the France national team.
It was reported that the player had completed his medicals with the West London club and an imminent announcement was the only thing that was pending in the deal. However, after the player suffered what could be a season ending injury in training with the France national team, Chelsea are said to have taken the back seat to analyze other potential options.
The Blues have already made contact with AC Milan’s Rafa Leao and Brighton’s Trossard. It is believed that the latter could be on his way to Stamford bridge this January having already worked with Graham Potter.
Chelsea are ready to spend heavily in the January transfer window despite spending over 200 million pounds in the summer transfer window. The blues could also sign a defender when the transfer window opens in January.
