A male suspected kidnapper and burglar has reportedly been beaten to pulp by some residents of compound, a suburb of dunkwa-on-offin in the central region.
According to reports, the suspect whose name and age is not yet known allegedly broke into a female resident’s room on friday morning while the victim was taking her bath.
However, the suspect attempted to attack the victim when she had entered the room after taken her bath.
The loud screams of the victim however drew the attention of some residents who rushed to the scene, beating the suspect to pulp.
Some of the eye witnesses were tight-lipped to comment on the matter as others claim the suspect isn’t a criminal.
In an interview with denkyiraman radio news’nana oppong adepa ababio alias d.J powuakor, a native of the compound township who pleads anonymity noted that, the unconscious suspect is being taken to the hospital by some residents for treatment.
