WhatsApp is one of the biggest messaging platforms in the world. The app allows users to send, receive messages, share documents, images, locations, voice notes and even make voice and video call to friends and loved ones. Since its introduction it has become a favorite messaging app for many. Whenever the app goes down it becomes a big issue because many lives depend on it for communication.
The last time WhatsApp went off was last year in October. This shutdown lasted for several hours before the system was restored. The technical problem affected other apps within the Zuckerberg franchise of Messenger, Facebook and Instagram. Well today Tuesday, October 25, 2022 WhatsApp is down again and no explanation is yet to be given.
In Ghana there was confusion as to what was really happening. Some took to Facebook, Telegram and Twitter to make their complaints known. Whereas some they felt they had no data and so had to buy more data, others had to restart their phones thinking the problem was from their phones. Check out some of the reactions.
