A journalist and a former Manager at Airtel Ghana, Raymond Ablorh has commented that, IMF has exposed NPP for telling lies about how they arrested the cedi and built a robust economy.
His comments comes in wake of IMF indication that Ghana’s rising inflation is due to domestic factors and not mainly external like Russia- Ukraine war.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Wednesday, 19th October 2022, he wrote that why are government communicators not sharing this international news like they did previous ones which, they claim exonerated Dr Bawumia and Ofori-Atta?
“Now, you all know that the effects of global challenges only revealed the lies Dr Bawumia and others told you before Covid and Ukraine/Russia war emerged.”
They lied that they’ve built a robust and resilient economy. They lied that they had arrested the Cedi and jailed it knowing very well that they only got bonds to hold the Cedi.”
Raymond remarked that they borrowed anyhow and wasted the money recklessly to bring us to where we’re today. Dr Bawumia and Ofori-Atta and all the members of the Economic Management Team have failed this nation. He remarked.
He told President Akufo-Addo to stop sleep walking and talking by heart because he’s got what he wanted from the people of Ghana. He doesn’t understand what’s happening. He and his tired Ministers should stop annoying citizens.Â
