It’s now official, Kuame Eugene has confirmed that he’s no longer with Lynx Entertainment, the record label that nurtured and advanced his career owned by Richie Mensah.
Days after speaking in parables in a Twitter post saying he has done everything he could to stay but things were falling apart, the Rockstar has confirmed that his newest destination is Empire- the popular label managing and/or distributing the music of numerous African acts.
“My New Family @EMPIRE@EMPIREAfrica 🤝🏾,” Kuame Eugene wrote minutes ago.
Some artists under the EMPIRE label include; Black Sherif, Kizz Daniel and Buju BNXN.

Days ago, the serial hitmaker had tweeted that he had tried everything humanly possible to stay at the formidable record label but the centre could no longer hold.
Although he did not mention the name of Lynx in the controversial post, the signs have been on the wall from the onset hence deciphering his message was a no-brainer.

To set tongues wagging even more, Kuame Eugene said, ‘Suro Nipa’, to wit- fear humans, which vastly suggests that there’s a volcano erupting in the camp of Richie Mensah- the boss of the label.
As we mentioned previously, this new development has added to the notorious reputation of the label whereby mainstream artists leave unceremoniously and seek solace elsewhere after internal wranglings which never surface for us to know.
