“Akuffo Addo’s Comments about bad roads in Kwabre is an insult to the Paramount chief” – Capt Smart

President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo stormed Kumasi and visited Otumfuor Osei Tutu, the Ashanti King to deliberate on issues of National interest most especially the illegal mining popularly referred to galamsey menace. Efforts made by the government to curb these illicit acts were made known to the overlord of the land.

In addition, he toured several places to commission newly built edifices and to inspects ongoing projects in the region. He was accompanied by national dignitaries of his New Patriotic Party and other prominent individuals.

Strangely, he granted an interview to one popular radio station: Otec Fm and answered a question about the bad roads in Kwabre East municipality.

The president who answered the host said “But if it comes to the election and you choose to vote for the NDC, that is your own issue that is not my worry because nobody holds your thumb to vote; it is your own work. The important thing is that I understand my responsibility, and we will deal with it.”

This answer has generated a lot of controversies online and Captain Smart this morning has criticized the president for making such statements. He labelled it as irresponsible and an “insult” to the paramount chief of the area.
