Encourage Your Children To Exhibit Their Talents – 2022 GMB Queen Teiya’s mother advises parents

The proud mother of the 2022 Ghana Most Beautiful winner Dahamani Tung-Teiya has seized the opportunity of her daughter’s triumph to render advice to every mother out there.

Mrs. Dahamani urged parents to encourage their children to bring out their hidden talents, and also invest time in nurturing them.

According to the proud mother, they had difficulty in deciding whether to support and nurture their daughter Teiya’s beauty pageant talent or not, because she started demonstrating her passion for beauty pageants at a younger age but on the contrary, they wanted her to concentrate on her education.

She said they finally came to a unanimous agreement to support her in her talent when they discovered that she could be participating in the pageants while having her education going on the right track.

“When Teiya was young, she was exhibiting these beautiful talents, and we wanted her to concentrate on her education because she’s very brilliant.

“But we saw that there was interest in her passion too, and she could do it alongside. So we gave her the blessing and encouragement. And she has done it.”

She emphasized that no talent should be considered small because if attention is given to it, it will bring light at the end with fruitful results, hence, parents should take their children’s talents as important.

“Allow them to bring out their talent to life. Encourage them so that they will bring out their talent. Every talent has a benefit in the end. No matter how small it is. I will bring light at the end, so parents should not ignore all these things.”

Teiya took home Ghc10,000 cash, one year’s supply of GTP fabric, Ghc20,000 medical insurance and spa treatment, a new techno phone, an all-expense paid international trip, and hampers from sponsors as the winner of the 2022 Ghana Most Beautiful Pageant, held on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the National Theatre.
