Aduana FC, Bechem United begin Bono region mini Top 4 competition with a win

Aduana FC and Bechem United, began the Bono region mini Top Four tournament with a win on the opening day yesterday (Monday).

Aduana FC, posted a 2-1 home win over Berekum Chelsea at the Nana Agyeman Badu (NAB) I Park, Dormaa-Ahenkro in front of their home fans.

On the part of Bechem United, they defeated Nsoatreman FC by the same result at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Bechem also on Monday afternoon.

Goals by Solomon Aboagye and Iddrissu Taylor at Dormaa-Ahenkro, handed Aduana FC the win and, they will look to build on this for the rest of this specially organized Top 4 competition for top-flight sides based in that part of the country as the betPawa Premier League is on hold.

Emmanuel Owusu and Hafiz Wontah Konkoni, scored for Bechem United in their win over Nsoatreman FC with Yakubu Mohammed getting the consolation for the visitors.

The competition will continue in midweek with two more matches as the four clubs seek to take advantage of the hold in play in the league to keep themselves ready for its resumption.
