Alisa Hotel Tema opens for business

THE Alisa Hotels Group has taken its business to the industrial city of Tema as part of a grand move to offer its services to many more people, local and foreign.

It also forms part of a deliberate effort to spread its operations across strategic areas.

The newly opened Alisa Hotel Tema, boasts of over 50 guest rooms with bespoke conference facilities.

The new facility just like the others, offer either luxury or contemporary accommodation, conference and banquet halls plus unique food and beverage outlets to satisfy all palettes.

It was opened by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, at the weekend.

Variety of businesses

The Chairman of the Bamson group -Sikkens Paints, Sandtex Paints, Crown Paints, Glostal Aluminium & Alisa Hotels; Mr Kwame Ofosu Bamfo is one of the most respected business moguls and philanthropists in Ghana.

He boasts over 35 years of experience in a variety of business undertakings, with his companies employing over 750 people worldwide.

Alisa Hotels started as a boutique hotel in Labone with only 14 rooms. What started as a niche market, eventually attracted increased demand and this compelled the hotel to secure another property at North Ridge, Accra to accommodate the ever-growing international and local clientele.

While North Ridge continued to serve both the local and international community, the Alisa Hotel Group felt the need to reach a wider network of the corporate, business traveller and leisure guest while offering an experience that builds a lifestyle.

Expansion plans

The hospitality group identified the port city of Tema as perfect for its expansion plans. It is in this context that the Alisa Group, conceptualised Industrial meets Modern; the marriage of steel engineering with contemporary artistic strokes; where the modern fuses with the energy of a vibrant port city.

Renowned Ghanaian architect; Augustus Richardson, was consulted to conjure different bespoke themes from his rich tapestry of design nous and experience. He came up with the idea of mounting a steel work that has a collage of cranes, containers
