TV3’s Johnnie Hughes will continue to speak truth to power so long as certain issues are confronting the country. As a journalist, he presents the news holistically without taking sides.
The morning show host has commented on the global citizen festival event which was organized on Saturday at Independence Square and the strange happenings which occurred.
Complimenting the organizers for doing a yeoman’s job, Johnnie described the show as a top-notch and beautiful one. He, however, hoped that the central theme of the program:climate change and poverty eradication will stay with us.
Johnnie asserted that those who booed the President were disappointed in him. These guys were the same who voted for him to be voted into power. national security had done their job well, they would have known that the grounds weren’t safe for you and that would have saved you from such humiliation.
“Is the time you speak to the people. Since you didn’t, this is what they will also do to you,” he concluded.
