The third round of 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season but yet to commence for Asante Kotoko due to the CAF Champions League will lock horns against Hearts of Oak today at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Arch rivals in the league, this encounter tends to be a tough test of the season as both sides are not pretty settled given their last two games.
Asante Kotoko lost bitterly in the CAF Champions League on penalties shoot-out to Burkinabe side RC Kadiogo in the second leg after getting the head start as visitors courtesy of Isaac Oppong.
Likewise, Hearts of Oak – two games in the Premier League without a win – lost to Aduana Stars in the opening game and drew at Great Olympics.
Following this, the two sides will look to redeem themselves which makes this clash dicey.

With the Phobians – Abdul Aziz Nurudeen and Amankwah Baafi alongside new signees, Prince Nana Kwasi Darmang and Congolese international Linda Mtange due to ITC issues.
