Ghana Is Now Very Expensive – King Promise bemoans

King Promise

Mellifluous Ghanaian singer and songwriter King Promise has joined the tall list of celebrities who have bemoaned the hardship imposed on Ghanaians by the Akufo-Addo’s Government.

Speaking in a conversation with prolific media personality Abeiku Santana on Okay Fm, the singer noted that living in the country is now very expensive and there is no way someone can say the contrary.

He added that the prices of goods among others have skyrocketed unreasonably. Things he used to buy at less expensive prices have exorbitantly increased a few months down the line.

“Ghana is expensive, no one can lie,” he said. Adding his experience, the ‘Ginger’ singer said “like things I use to pay for like maybe 12, 000, 13, 000 and 14,000 now is like 24,000. It doesn’t make any sense in less than six months”.

Below are other celebrities who have shared their experience on the current state of the country’s economy ;

A friend of mine came to Ghana 🇬🇭 for a few weeks and later called me saying…

Joo why is the living here so expensive, for a developing country? Wow. How can local businesses thrive? And how can foreign businesses come in and operate successfully?

I was just quiet…🥴💔📱
