Opinion: Could Cristiano Ronaldo Be The Reason Why Thomas Tuchel Was Sacked From Chelsea?

Thomas Tuchel, Is a 49-year-old German professional football manager and former player who most recently managed Premier League club Chelsea. He was born in Krumbach, Germany. Tuchel, after winning the UEFA Champions League trophy with the Chelsea Football Club just about 15 months ago, was shockingly sacked by the Club’s new owners lead by Todd Boehly, just 3 months in office as the Club’s owner. And this happened after Chelsea was scored by Dinamo Zagreb just last week in their opening game of the UEFA Champions League. Because of that, many were on the view that he was sacked because of that defeat and also, their poor start of the English Premier League. Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly, has lifted the lid on Thomas Tuchel’s bombshell sacking by revealing the German did not share his vision for the future of the club. The American billionaire spoke candidly about their shock decision to axe the 49-year-old just seven days after the transfer window. This means the decision was not based on the Champions League defeat to Dinamo Zagreb. Now the question is, what really happened that made Todd Boehly believed that Tuchel does not share the same vision with him concerning the club? Could it be because of Cristiano Ronaldo‘s transfer issues? If you could remember, there was rumours during the transfer window that Cristiano Ronaldo could move to Chelsea of which didn’t happened. It was not just a rumour but rather, It’s Thomas Tuchel who did not make that move happened. According to reports (rumours), Todd Boehly is a very big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo and was so eager to bring him to Chelsea but Tuchel turn down that offer saying he was not in need of a striker but surprisingly, went in for Aubameyang’s late signing rejecting the interest of the owner as sources claims. Boehly believes that Ronaldo will be a statement signing for the club moreover, he believes Ronaldo is capable of giving the Club more goals. With new management (Graham Potter), don’t be surprise if Chelsea shows interest in Cristiano Ronaldo again coming January transfer window as the player seeks for Manchester United exit.
