Journalists Who Have Not Made It To BBC Do Not Have The Moral Right To Criticize Artistes – Sarkodie fumes

Rapper Sarkodie has given a milestone to which Ghanaian entertainment journalists should attain before they can criticize artistes.

According to him, those entertainment journalists and critics who have not achieved such stride given by him have no moral right to criticize them (musicians).

He said the only journalists who have the moral right or pedigree to criticize them or whose opinions about their (artistes) brands or careers would be taking into consideration are those who have made it to BBC.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is a radio and television company that is owned by the British government. They have branches in almost every country in the world.

“There are journalists who have been on the radio for over 20 years in Ghana.” They have not made it to the BBC, but they keep criticizing artists. “Why can’t they also make it to the BBC?” he quizzed

The above he said in an interview with Firestick.

The Celebrated Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has once again opened up about his pervasive smoking habit.

Photos and videos of the iconic rapper inhaling smoke from gargantuan cigars sighted by OneMuzikGh.Com have been trending on social media.

Critics and some ‘moral driven’ organizations have always been on him, indicting him of being a  bad influence on the youth as he is one of the key influential celebrities in the country.

The Ghana Civil Society Organisations (CSOs)  called on him in 2021 to apologize to well-meaning Ghanaians for making the smoking of cigars attractive on social media.

According to CSOs, Sarkodie’s images were likely to negatively impact the youth who see him as a role model.

The Sark Nation President responded by indicating categorically in an interview that he had no intention of misleading the youth or influencing them badly.

He added that he was not a chain smoker but he smokes Cigars because, in his view, it represents success and greatness.

Fast forward to 2022, he made mentioned in an interview that he doesn’t trust himself and that is because he never had the intention or thought of becoming a smoker someday.

“I don’t trust myself…I never thought I would be smoking cigars, but look at me now, I smoke” he said.

He said the above a few weeks after brand new photos of him smoking surfaced on the media.
