Newly promoted Ghana Premier League club FC Samartex has confirmed the readiness of their home venue to host top-flight matches next season.
The Timber giants will play their home games at the newly renovated Samartex Park at Samreboi in the Western region when the new season starts this weekend.
The club licensing board of the Ghana Football Association, (GFA), has approved the venue for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
After their opening day fixture away to Real Tamale United on Sunday, FC Samartex will honour their first ever home game in the Ghanaian top-flight league next weekend when they host Berekum Chelsea in a Matchday Two encounter.
That occasion is expected to be a festive one for fans in and around Samraboi as top-flight football comes to that part of the country for the very first time.
FC Samartex will look to open their home account in the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League with a win as they seek to keep their top-flight status for another season at least.
