Bibiani Gold Stars coach Michael Osei said, they aim to do even better next season after their debut campaign which saw them finish in the top half of the table in the Ghanaian top-flight last term.
The Miners finished ninth in the 2021/22 season and, it was a great testament to their efforts as they surprised many with their output.
And ahead of the next campaign, Coach Osei is targeting an even higher finish believing that they have prepared well enough for the task ahead.
The former Ghana international, saw his side through a successful pre-season program as they remained unbeaten in all the matches they played.
Coach Osei believes they can translate this form into the new season with a top-four finish, the target for the side according to the gaffer.
Gold Stars will round off their pre-season rituals with a home friendly against Sefwi All Stars on Thursday morning at the Dun’s Park, Bibiani.
The former Asante Kotoko player and coach, will hope for a win to take into their opening day fixture as the 2022/23 league season starts this weekend.
Gold Stars will be home to Dreams FC on Sunday as they open their account for the new season, hoping to achieve their ambition.
