A woman by the name of Mary shares why her mother-in-law told her husband to divorce her after they gave birth to their three children. According to the woman she got married to her husband Agya Kwasi Broni 9 years ago, although he is older than her but how he took care of her and provided her personal needs made her to love him.
Few years later they traveled to his hometown but her mother-in-law maltreated her without any offence. The mother-in-law even questioned Agya Akwasi why he choose to marry her instead of the women she chose for him but he convinced her mother that he loved her. Mary said her mother-in-law never liked her, she always accused her of being lazy and can’t cook well.
She convinced her son to divorce because she doesn’t know how to cook but her husband didn’t listen to her advice. The woman reveals that it got to a time that she couldn’t continue with the marriage so she packed her belongings and went back to her hometown. Her husband too switched off his phone for one whole year without calling to ask about his kids’ welfare.
She too got into a relationship with another man but they break up within a short period. Months later Akwasi called and apologize to her, she accepted his apology and went back to him. Mary said she conceive few months later but Agya Akwasi denied the pregnancy, claiming that the man who slept with her in her hometown is responsible for that pregnancy.
She didn’t mind him but continued to stay him till she gave birth and they worked together to take care of the children but she got rumors that her husband is in a relationship with one of their customer. Mary said her husband denied that it is not true. She fell sick afterward and was admitted at the hospital for three weeks, she later found out that it is her husband’s side chick who cursed her.
Few weeks later she became paralyzed but the man didn’t take care of her, she too left his house and went back to her hometown. Mary added that the man didn’t send her money to cater for their children due to that she wants him to compensate her for not taking care of her. According to the man, he loved his wife but Mary used to drink alcohol and always fight with him.
He advised her to stop drinking and sent her to his hometown but she continued to drink alcohol and always fight with him and they got separated for some months. He later found out that she was not taking care of the children so he allowed her to come back to him.
The two of them started trading but Mary always fight with her customers whenever she is drunk. The man revealed that he always give his daily earnings to his wife to save it but she sold their land and went to rent another room in Kumasi without informing him. Akwasi again said he has not divorced his wife but she rather left his house so he can’t give her any compensation.
