Accra Hearts of Oak move second phase of pre-season program to Kumasi ahead of GPL opener

Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak has moved their pre-season program to Kumasi ahead of the start of the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League, (GPL) opener.

The Phobians will face Aduana FC at Dormaa Ahenkro in the league opener on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

Hearts of Oak landed in Kumasi on Monday and, they will continue to shape up for the season ahead.

Coach Samuel Boadu will hope to get his charges ready before they play the season opener away at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park.

Hearts of Oak finished sixth in the GPL last season as they lost the title to their arch rivals Asante Kotoko but, they went on to make a successful defence of the FA Cup trophy.

The Phobians will hope for better fortune in the league next season as well as in the knock out competition where they will look to win the trophy for a third season running.

The club will also participate in the CAF Confederation Cup competition next season where they will look to make it to the group stage at least.
