There are certain incidence which are not expecting to happen in any institution. Recording a number of violence case puts the dignity and the integrity of the particular school to disrepute. The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology appeared in the news on a bad note. It was reported that, two (2) halls of residence clashed as a result of misunderstanding leading to destruction of properties.
Following the investigation of the Ghana Police Service, two of the students from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have been apprehended by the police. The report indicates that, one of the students happens to be an Old Student and and the other one happens to be a level 200 student of the said institution.
“The ongoing Police investigation into the rioting at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has led to the arrest of two more suspects. Suspect Franics Tutu Atuahenen, alias Aroma who is a level 200 student was captured in the video holding an offensive weapon. Suspect Daniel Osei Bonsu, alias Saint, a former student of the University was also captured destroying properties”. – Police Report.
