Asante Kotoko made a false start to their first pre-season friendly game yesterday in far away Sudan ahead of their next season assignments.
The Ghana Premier League champions lost 2-0 to Sudanese giants Al Hilal in Sudan under new Burkinabe coach, Seydou Zerbo.
And former Koroko striker, Eric Bekoe says the new coach will soon get his tactics right despite the first loss.
The two teams will meet again on Friday in a rematch in order to strengthen their arsenals ahead of their season’s assignments.
Asante Kotoko were scheduled to travel to Turkey for a pre-season exercise but the journey fell through following the failure of the travel agency to secure proper documentation.
The Porcupine Warriors managed to claim their first ever Ghana Premier League title in eight seasons and it will be a feather in their tea cup.
They will participate in next season’s CAF Champions League which they have missed for a number of years.
