Medeama SC beat Accra Hearts of Oak 3-1 as GHALCA G6 tournament reaches half way stage

The ongoing GHALCA G6 football tournament continued with the game between Accra Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC today in Accra this afternoon.

After the 90 minutes contest, Medeama SC run away 3-1 winners over the Phobians to record their first win of the campaign.

This was the first win of this pre-season competition for Medeama SC who lost their opening game of the campaign against Berekum Chelsea.

This G-6 pre-season tournament, is being played to get the teams prepared for the start of the new football season which kicks-off in September. 

The two sides have been joined by Bechem United, Accra Great Olympics, Karela United and Berekum Chelsea for this preseason tournament.

All the six clubs competing are looking to get themselves in shape for the start of the new season which promises to be a tough campaign on all fronts.

Asante Kotoko won the league title last season whilst Accra Hearts of Oak retained the FA Cup trophy.
