Eric Edem Agbana a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communication team speaking on Metro has fired the government following the situation in Ghana. He stated the kind of challenges the economy is facing is something we shouldn’t joke with.

He emphasizes that the government keeps on giving promises to revive the economy yet we are not seeing anything. This will tell you that the government is only good at promises with no value. Nana Addo and his administration are full of empty promises.
The person who said they have the men and vowed not to visit IMF is now running to seek financial aid and this will tell you Nana Addo and his administration have nothing to offer the country. Even at the point Ghanaians were going through a lot of financial challenges he imposed taxes which they believe the E-levy can change the face of the economy and everything. Upon all the advice which was given by the National Democratic Congress, they failed to listen and now the finance minister is saying they couldn’t meet their target as they expected.
Edem boldly tells Randy Abbey the host of the program that he is sorry to disappoint him but the truth must be told he doesn’t take anything the president says again seriously. Even IMF is not the solution they have to stop unnecessary expenditures. The president was traveling in an expensive private jet while he tells Ghanaians to tighten their bet this shows that he doesn’t even care about the people and the hardship they are going through. You are leaving a lavish and mocking your people to tighten their bet this is not logic.
In his final message, Nana Addo’s administration doesn’t have any better vision to handle the economy. Hopefully in 2024 Ghanaians will make a better decision to change this government.
