Could This Be True?; Check Out What Kevin Taylor Posted About MenzGold That Has Got People Talking

US based Ghanaian journalist and host of With All Due Respect show on Loud Silence TV, Kevin Taylor has served a notice to customers of Menzgold.

In his recent post on Facebook, Kevin Taylor revealed that Nana Appiah Mensah, who is popularly known as NAM1 may walk free as prosecutors have found that it is difficult to sustain charges against him.

This statement from Kevin Taylor has generated several reactions on social media and some Ghanaians have shown their disappointment in the government.

Nana Appiah Mensah is a business man who had a popular known as Menzgold. The business traded in gold and had a lot of investments from the Ghanaian public. This is because the interest on investment was better than most financial institutions in the country.

He was charged with abetment of crime, defrauding by false pretences, carrying on a deposit-taking business without a licence, sale of minerals without a licence, unlawful deposit-taking, and money laundering. It was also alleged that the had taken various sums of money totalling GH¢1.6 billion from customers.

He has been dragged to court on several occasions but couldn’t bring out any results to the customers. There have been series of demonstrations against the government of Ghana and Nana Appiah Mensah. This is because, the government has failed to take their monies from the business owner. As at now, the people who invested their monies in the business have not received any cash from the or the government.

From the reactions above, most Ghanaians believe that the government of Ghana have failed them if what Kevin Taylor is saying is true. Others revealed that the statement from Kevin Taylor is true because all things show that Nana Appiah Mensah is a free man already.
