Ex-Ghana midfielder, Yusif Chibsah says Hearts of Oak and Kotoko should not take their opponents for granted in next season’s continental campaign.
The former Kotoko captain however urges the two clubs to put in much investment and hardwork.
“To compete at the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup at the group stage is not an easy task.
“Because other countries are taking the sport very seriously, they taken the sport very seriously, they are investing hugely in that area.
“They are buying players, top quality players even from Europe to their clubs.
“So we need to put up a very good job, we need to prepare very well, it’s not going to be easy.
“If they think they are going to face clubs from Burkina Faso is going to be easy, it’s not going to be easy.
“We shouldn’t relax, we should rather work hard and get ready.” Yusif Chibsah told Radio Gold Talk Sport.
Kotoko will play Burkina Faso champions, Rail Club de Kadiogo with Hearts of Oak awaiting the winner between AS Douanes of Burkina Faso and ASR Bamako of Mali.
