Black Stars Forward Osman Bukari Scores Hat Trick In UEFA Champions League Playoff

Ghanaian internationals Osman Bukari and Kwabena Owusu have scored for their respective clubs in UEFA Champions League play-off tonight. Whereas Osman Bukari grabbed hat trick for Red Star Belgrade, Kwabena Owusu scored a goal for Qarabag.

Red Star Belgrade hosted Yerevan from Armenia and the game ended 5:0 for the home side. Black Stars player Osman Bukari opened the scoring for Red Star Belgrade in the 29th minutes. He added his second on the night in the 44th minutes and wrapped up the night with a hat trick on the 70th minutes. He got first half brace and added his third in the second half.

With his side scoring five goals, they have inched closer to the next stage of UEFA Champions League. They will be aiming to go through during the reverse encounter.

Elsewhere, Kwabena Owusu was on target for Qarabag as they engaged Ferencvaros and it ended 1:1. Kwabena Owusu scored the goal for his side and they will be full of hopes heading into the second leg in Hungary.

With this, they could earn call up into the Senior National team ahead of this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Razak Abalora and Mudasiru Salifu were part of FC Sheriff squad that played a champions league play-off yesterday. Razak Abalora kept the goal post and conceded two goals.
