Ghanaian rapper, Derrick Sarfo Kantana, known well as Amerado has said that an artist can build his brand based on their traits and how focused they are.
In an exclusive interview with Graphic , the rapper shared how he managed to create music with the A-list singers in Ghana; like Sarkodie, Okyeame Kwame, and others. According to him, he was able to build a solid brand as a rapper.

“Branding is very essential. Every brand has their specification. It all depends on what you can offer and what you bring to the table. If you stand out, you will succeed in getting attention from the top artists and they will be willing to work with you.”
“If you want to be a star find a means to touch the audience. Have a unique style. Blacko is doing something different that is why he is getting all the attention.”
“So if you want me to be a side artiste on your song, you have to be unique and know what you are about. That is the only way you get me to come on board your project otherwise it is a no no for me,’’ he stated.
In other news, Amerado has revealed that he is ever ready to work on a collaboration with Strongman despite their alleged lyrical beef.

In an interview with Poleeno Media, Amerado stated that he sees no reason why he cannot collaborate with Strongman on a song and he has revealed his intentions to feature him on his EP several times.
According to the rapper, anyone who understands the rap games would not be offended by a subliminal shot thrown by another rapper in a song.
