Just in: Parts of Kwame Nkrumah Interchange will be closed down. Check details

The Ministry of Roads and Highways has announced that portions of the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in Accra will be closed for repairs.

The Ministry made the announcement through the Department of Urban Roads in a news release issued on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

According to the release announcement, the road from Akasanoma to Nsawam will be disrupted.

It will be closed from midnight on Friday, July 29, 2022, to midnight on Sunday, July 31, 2022.

According to the announcement, the closure is necessary to allow the contractor, QG KONSTRUKTION AB, to repair the sections of the ramp on the Nsawam road.

The Ministry of Roads added urged drivers to abide by all traffic control measures that would be implemented at strategic locations along the road.

Since this will affect the flow of traffic to Nsawam, we are waiting for the road user to show their concerns and how it may also affect their business.
