Coach Prosper Ogum is on the verge of becoming the new coach Sudanese giants Al Hilal according to reports in the local media. Prosper Ogum has agreed to take over Al Hilal after talks between the club and the coach have advanced, reports claim. Prosper Ogum and Al Hilal are yet to put pen to paper but discussions have been going in for some time, to the extent that, the club is reported to have expressed interest in signing some Asante Kotoko players. Some of those players have given Al Hilal green light to contact management for their services.

While this news is unfolding at the camp of coach Prosper Ogum, the club’s board members are working to bring all feuding parties together for a harmonious working relationship between management and the coach.

Some board members of Asante Kotoko held meeting with Prosper Ogum yesterday to ascertain the veracity of resignation reports, while at the same time looking forward to meeting Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah for their side of the matter.

As coach Prosper Ogum might be working on his future, Asante Kotoko are likely to appoint experienced coach Kamou Malo as the new head coach of the club.
