Video: Minority in Parliament hooted at Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta to resign

It was a sad moment in Parliament when the finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta was hooted by the Minority in Parliament to resign being the finance Minister.

Today, on the 25th of July 2022, the mid-year budget review was presented to the parliament by the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta in accordance with the law, under the Public Financial Management Act as revealed earlier.

The Minister of finance Ken Ofori-Atta spoke about the government’s decision to go to IMF and many others. Speaking about the government’s decision to go to IMF, Ken Ofori-Atta, the Minister of Finance indicated that the government would not be seeking any more financial support.

He also indicated that the road tolling system which was canceled some time ago might come back again.

Unfortunately, while he was presenting the mid-year budget review, the minority in Parliament began to hoot at him. According to them, the Minister of finance Ken Ofori-Atta should resign from being the country’s Minister of finance.
