On Sunday, The President of Ghana Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and the Chief Executive Officer of the Atta Mills Institute Koku Anyidoho delivered their speeches at the Asomdwee Park. In fact, the President of Ghana described the Director of Communications of the late President as energetic as Nana Addo also hinted that the controversies of Mills’ tomb would not inure to his benefit in any way.
Not long after the President and his entourage had left the ceremony, Former President John Dramani Mahama and Professor Jane Naana Agyeman were also at a ceremony to commemorate the late President. The Former President hailed his late Boss as a proven achiever and a peaceful person. Mr. John Mahama also explained that the controversy surrounding Mills’ Tomb was unnecessary.
There have been mixed reactions to the Former President’s remarks. Some Ghanaians have pointed out that Mr. John Mahama should have joined the President and Koku Anyidoho if the controversies were unnecessary.
