Olympique Marseille have completed the transfer of Colombian national team player Luis Suarez from La Liga club Granada in Spain.
The 24-year-old scored eight goals in the La Liga Santander for Granada football club during the 2021/22 season, making him the leading scorer in the league.
Granada FC signed the former Real Zaragoza striker in the summer of 2020 from English club Watford FC, and Olympique Marseille FC has already signed him.
It was agreed that the Colombian will be sold after Granada football team was relegated to La Liga SmartBank after placing 18th in the League table.
Several top-flight European clubs had been associated with Luis Suarez before Olympique Marseille won the race to sign him, Atalanta and Napoli as well as West Ham United and Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
On Monday night, Fabrizio Romano announced via his verified Twitter account that;
“Official. Luis Suárez, a Colombian striker, has agreed to join Olympique Marseille from Granada of the Spanish La Liga.
There will be a medical examination in Marseille during the next few hours, as stated in a club statement.
