Award winning Ghanaian singer, Gregory Bortey Newman, professionally known as King Promise is set to discharge his second studio album, ‘5 Star’.
The multifaceted Ghanaian star who recently shut down the ‘Oh My! Festival’ in Rotterdam has taken to his official social media page to announce the the completion and the release date of his next studio album.
Tagged ‘5 Star’, the upcoming body of work happens to be his second studio album after serving the music community with, ‘As Promised’ whoch was released in 2020 and has amassed impressive numbers on streaming platforms. ‘As Promised’ album houses songs like ‘Commando’, ‘Hangover’, ‘My Lady’, among others.
The Legacy Life Entertainment prodigy has finally announced featured artistes on the impending album. According King Promise, the album had guest apperances from Omah lay, Headie One, WSTRN, Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, Patoranking, Frenna and Bisa Kdei.

The album also houses 2 already released songs, ‘Ginger’ and ‘Chop Life’ featuring Patoranking. King Promise earlier revealed that, the creation process of his new album was influenced by the various people and cultures he was around in recent times.
He added that ‘5 Star’ represents development in both personality and sound from the previous album. ‘5 Star’ album has been scheduled for release on Friday, July 22, 2022 on all music streaming platforms. Below is the featured artistes.
