Former President John Mahama received a lot of applause at the program called “Ghana Crossroads” organized by the National Democratic Congress(NDC) after he revealed this strange secret about Vice President, Dr. Bawumia and the economic management team of the ruling government. The said program, which was organized a few weeks ago, was to paint the real picture of where Ghana is under Akufo-Addo.
John Mahama boldly revealed that the economic management team has completely failed and must be reconstituted. He also mentioned that Dr. Bawumia has moved from a self-acclaimed economic messiah to a poster boy of economic mismanagement.
“ The economic management team, that solid team has failed and must be re-constituted immediately with fresh ideas and perspectives. Having supervised the worst public debt build-up, the the worse budget deficit, the worse debt to GDP ratio, the worse credit rating downgrade, the worse performing currency in the world, the highest fuel prices ever, the worst ever-rising inflation, unprecedented hardships, etc, the current head of the economic management team(Dr. Bawumia) has clearly fallen from self-acclaimed economic Messiah to a poster boy for economic mismanagement. He has completely lost it.” John Mahama boldly revealed this during the “Ghana at the crossroads program”.
These comments by John Mahama made everyone in the auditorium clap for the former President and started laughing at Dr. Bawumia.
