The NDC member of Parliament for North Tongu Okudzeto Ablakwa has given an interesting response to the Defense Minister, Ntiwul Dominic, stating that his claims are inaccurate and a dangerous mindset.
According to Okudzeto Ablakwa, a leaders with foresight does not sit for things to get out of hand before looking for measures. He remarked that a good leader sees afar and devise ways of mitigating a possible uncertainty before it’s happens.
It would be recalled that the Defense Minister Ntiwul Dominic responded to critics on the renting of luxurious jets by the President of the Republic Nana Akufo-Addo stating that he hasn’t rented a private jet over the past 3 months and the case of Belgium was an exceptional situation
However, Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa who doesn’t seems to be pleased with the response noted that the President should have known that his luxurious lifestyle will definitely impose hardship on the citizenry.
Okudzeto Ablakwa tweeted “An inaccurate claim & a dangerous mindset. Good leaders don’t wait for hardships to be prudent and caring; they actually have the foresight to appreciate that their profligacy and extravagance eventually leads to the kind of excruciating hardship Ghanaians are currently facing,” he noted.
