Ghanaian popular lawyer and ranking member of the ruling party New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gabby Otchere-Darko has added his voice to Paul Kagame’s desire to stay in power for extra 20 years.
Gabby Otchere-Darko is known to be a personality who depends on law to talk about matters arising in his country and other African countries. This afternoon he has given his perception about Rwandan President Paul Kagame’s willingness to remain in power of another 20 years.
Gabby Otchere-Darko on his twitter platform said that, if Paul Kagame is performing or delivering, the elections are free and fair, Rwandans want him to remain in power and the rules or the laws in the country allow it then he can continue. Even though she did not add the final part of his statement but his point was for the President to continue if he meets all the above conditions.
On his twitter platform he said, “If he is delivering and the elections are free and fair and the people want him to rule for 40 years and the rules allow….”
