Ghana’s failing economy is finally going to be rescued hopefully with the intervention of an IMF programmer which is yet to be contracted. This decision by government has really caused stirs among concerned citizens as each and everyone analyzes government’s in his or her own perspective.
There has been a trending request from many Ghanaians to President Nana Addo in relation with the economy of the nation and the loan we are going to seek for and this has everything to do with the sitting Minister of Finance. Many Ghanaians and great personalities former president Mahama have advocated for the sacking of the finance minister for mismanagement of the economy.
Reporting from Citi Tv via their official twitter page is a statement made by Gabby Otchere Darko, one of NPP’s top executives as he made public his opinion about the sacking of the finance minister, Ken Ofori Atta. He said that “ the minister has demonstrated an appreciable level of creativity and innovation in the management of the economy, hence needs all the support to succeed, first by the New Patriotic Party and the populace”. This was to nullify all the advocation of the sacking of the finance minister for which it is believed that, some NPP members are in support of it.
“ Amidst the challenges facing the country’s economy which is largely due to the Covid pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war, the minister has demonstrated capacity and creativity in working around the problems”, he added.
Some citizens accepted the fact that he was creative and innovative and that makes him to be able to loot the country and give unmatchable breakdowns of expenses.
