Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Kwame Bonsu played 90 minutes for his Egyptian side Ceramica Cleopatra in their league game on Tuesday.
Bonsu, was very busy in the middle of the park for Cleopatra, but, they suffered their seventh defeat of the campaign as they went down 3-2 to Zamalek.
This Matchday 23 encounter, was played at the Cairo international Stadium as Zamalek maintained their lead at the top of the table with 51 points.
Defeat, leaves Cleopatra in 12th position with 26 points from the 23 matches they have played so far in the Egyptian top-flight.
Kwame Bonsu was rated at 5.3 in this fixture against the very formidable Zamalek side that has lost four of the 23 games they have played this season as they seek to retain their title.
In the same fixture, another Ghanaian Evans Mensah climbed off the bench to play 10 minutes for Cleopatra as they conceded their 27th goal of the campaign.
Ceramica Cleopatra’s other Ghanaian Winful Cobbina, did not make the matchday squad for the visitors in this fixture.
Cleopatra will next play Al Ittihad in a home game at the New Suez Stadium where they will chase their sixth win of the campaign.
The three Ghanaians in the team will hope to be a part of the game as they continue with their exploits in the North African country.
