Okudzeto’s Action Could Potentially Constitute Serious National Security Breach – NDC’s Dela Coffie

A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and political activist, Dela Coffie, has commented that Okudzeto Ablakwa, consistently giving out details of the travels or of the jet used by Akufo-Addo’s travel could potentially constitute serious national security breach.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Saturday, he wrote that he seriously find the advocacy for the disclosure of expenses on the president’s travel very useful, “but then, it makes no sense for the consistent giving out of the details of the travels, or the of the jet the president travels with. It could potentially constitute serious national security breach.”

Dela continued that it’s bewildering as to why an elected legislator and a professional propagandist, is allowed so much airtime to wail and gnash his teeth and engage in a conversation about the tracking of the presidential travels in the wave of terrorist threats around the globe.

“I honestly think there ought to be some parameters around these conversations and the kind of information relating to the president’s travel jet that can be put out into the public domain.

And this is not about Nana Akufo-Addo. It’s about the presidency.” He added.

Background

The comments of Dela Coffie follows Honorable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa’s revealations that Akufo-Addo travelled to Belgium in a luxurious private jet. Following his claims, Eugene Arhin, a communicator at the Flagstaff house has come to deny it. Okudzeto on stormed Joynews with documents to back up his claims.
