“Disappointed” Randy Abbey Leaves The Polling Station After His Name Disappeared From The Register

Currently, in naming the seasoned and veteran journalist, one cannot ignore the neutral host of the Good Morning Ghana show, Randy Abbey. Over the years, he has been able to maintain his neutrality and composure in hosting arguments between members from both the National Democratic Congress and Members from the New Patriotic Party.

The Ghana Journalist Association executive election is ongoing and as a registered member of the association, Randy Abbey stormed the polling station at the Press Centre to exercise his franchise rights. However, on arrival, he could not locate his name amongst the registered voters and journalist. And this is a very big disgrace.

So out of disappointment, he left the polling centre. Already, some top journalists have voted already.

This made Ghanaians react massively. Some Ghanaians blasted GJA for their act of discrimination against Randy Abbey. Others also blamed the electoral commission for this problem. They believed that it was a planned attempt to disenfranchise Randy.
