Ghana was rated as an expensive destination by about 50.4% of foreign travelers polled by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) at Kotoka International Airport.Â
However, 15.4 percent of attendees stated they were extremely delighted with their whole experience with the “Beyond the Return” version of December in Ghana 2021 activities, while 72.76 percent of visitors said they were satisfied.Â
Ninety-five percent of guests who had already visited Ghana said they would return for events in December 2022.
According to participants, the event in Ghana in December 2022 will differ in a few ways, the of programs in more locations and the addition of new activities.
They also recommended holding events in larger, more commodious auditoriums.Â
In the departure area of Kotoka International Airport, 260 program participants were quizzed for the 2021 December in Ghana survey.
38 percent of the interviews were with men, and 62 percent were with women. In the 18 to 39 year old age range, millennials made up 73.8% of the population. 61 percent of people have bachelor’s degrees. At the time, 40% of visitors to Ghana were making their first trip, while 28% had been there more than three times.Participants that actively participated ranked “Experience Ghana” as the first pillar of Beyond the Return and “Celebrate Ghana” as the second.
