Journalists and Ordinary Ghanaians Register Their Displeasure Amidst The Hardship On Social Media

Ghana is going through quite a hard time. People near and far keep complaining on the status quo.

Is this what was promised prior to the 2016 general elections in the country? Many hands have been let-fall down by our leaders.

Ghanaians home and abroad are ranting on the daily increase of goods and services surging in the country.

As leaders keep referring the hardship in the country as a result of the crisis in Ukraine-Russia war, others feel that it’s again from the bad policies spread by the government.

Further, Ghanaians in their way of registering their displeasure to the current happenings in the country, social media platforms became the tool to show their anger.

Journalists and the ordinary citizenry shared their frustrations on Facebook;

One Caleb Kudah expressed, “ You put 7 taxes on one product. When there is windfall you don’t give it to us. You think we don’t read? He mentioned.

Gary Al-Smith said, “ Next time when soft spoken man in a white kaftan start quoting the Scriptures from the Bible, we’ll take time in clipping for them.” Gary retorted.

One Eugene Osei-Tutu said, “ With the projected 11% and 13% increase in petrol and diesel prices today, it’ll be the highest price since October 2020.”

These and a lot more gives an evidence of hardship in the country.
