Popular writer for NPP, PK Sarpong quizzed whether it isn’t ideal for Adwoa Safo to relinquish her hold on her positions held in Parliament and Government. His comments comes after the MP for Kwabenya, Adwoa Safo is forced to appear before the Privileges Committee by published summons as she cannot be reached right now.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Wednesday, 15th June 2022, he wrote;
“Clearly, Sarah Adwoa Safo is being a parent and would go to every length to look out for the welfare of her child who, we understand, has been ill for months, if not over a year.”
PK Sarpong asserted that as a mother, she feels she has to be with the child and not bequeath that responsibility to someone else. It is commendable, that’s how she chooses to handle it.
“Much as she loves her child and would prioritize that responsibility of taking care of him herself over any other thing, isn’t it ideal for her to relinquish her hold on her positions held in Parliament and Government?” PK said.
He argued that as things stand now, she is not willing to change her mind on leaving the child for someone else. She needs time to take care of the kid.
Honourable Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya is given the freedom to concentrate on getting her child back to health, all would be well. PK Sarpong concluded.
