They Were Unconscious; I Can’t Find My Children: Parent Sadly Breaks Down In Uncontrollable Tears

The recent circulating news that broke the hearts of most Ghanaians was the unexpected clash between innocent students at the Islamic SHS and the Ghana Police Service.

According to a parent who was also an eyewitness, one of the students of the school got sadly lost his life after a vehicle knocked him down due to the poor road signs on the road connecting to the school hence, the teachers gave a green light for the students to demonstrate aside expressing their grief in other to get the road fixed by the Akufo Addo government but the unexpected happened when the police attacked the students with tear gas amongst others.

With respect to this, some parents who sadly expressed their anxiousness revealed that they weren’t able to enter the school premises after being informed of the heartbreaking incident and hence, couldn’t find their wards till now.

In addition to this, some of these parents who were in a serious dilemma considering how most of the students were lying unconscious due to the attack by the police unexpectedly broke down in uncontrollable tears aside wondering whether their wards were also affected or not.

“My sibling who was at Cape Coast called me to go check up on my child due to the police attack in the school. When I got here, they prevented me from entering to see whether my child was affected or not. I don’t know what has happened to him, whether he’s been sent to the hospital or not”, the woman sadly revealed.

“They should allow us to see our wards. I’m confused because I don’t know what is happening to my daughter. I still can’t find my children”, another parent sadly revealed.

“They were unconscious; I began to cry”, another parent revealed.
