A good citizen yesterday 12th June, 2022, alerted the Ghana police service of a reckless driver who was driving a truck without the back tyres with a video proof. He took a video of the truck with the registration number and sent it to the police for immediate action.
Following the alert, the police took immediate action and got the driver in charge of the DAF truck with registration number as 7324-12 arrested.
According to the a statement by the Ghana police, the name of the suspect driver is Kofi Nkansah. He was arrested by the Ghana police yesterday 12 June 2022 at Ejisu after he was captured in a video driving without his back tyres.
The police also notified that the vehicle has been impounded and the suspect will be arranged today 13th June 2022.
The police also highly commend the person who spotted the vehicle and took the video footage and alerted the police subsequently.
