Psalms 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Sin can be passed down from one generation to another. Certain wrong behavioural patterns are being relived in us because our parents or great grand parents committed such sins. An example is Abraham when he lied that Sarah was her sister. This lying trait was repeated in Isaac(Genesis 26:7) and then in Jacob(Genesis 27:18-19). Iniquity can be stored in our DNA and transferred to new born children. So David said in iniquity has my mother conceived me.Â
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Are you trying to quit drinking, smoking, fornicating, masturbating and telling lies. There is goodnews for all of us today. We can be free from bloodline sins and their associated curses. When we believe in the finished work of salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, His blood breaks the power of sin over our spirit, soul and body. We become free to live a righteous and holy life and fulfill our wonderful destinies. Hallelujah.
Psalms 65:2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.
Heavenly Father thank you for the atoning power of the blood of Jesus that was shed for the remission of my sins. Oh Lord deliver me from the sin of the bloodline that easily besets me. Take away every evil addiction that is fighting against my pursuit of holiness and my glorious destiny in the name of JesusÂ
